337. Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will state the Oireachtas joint committee to which the State agency Inland Fisheries Ireland is accountable; the dates and attendees at any presentations made by IFI to any official body of the Oireachtas or the European Commission since the establishment of the agency in 2009; and if these presentations were on matters of policy or financial accountability. Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI), established on 1 July 2010, is an agency of my Department, which appears before the Committee on Transport and Communications as required. At the invitation of the Joint Sub-Committee on Fisheries of the Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, IFI attended the sub-committee in March 2013. The details requested by the Deputy are set out in the table below.
