296. Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Education and Skills his plans to include the important topics of blood donation and organ donation as part of the curricula. [46258/13]

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is currently working on the Leaving Certificate Science syllabuses and is about to commence work on a new Junior Cycle Science specification. The question raised by the Deputy will be brought to the attention of the NCCA.
