Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Education and Skills the position regarding a student grant application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary; the reason this application was cancelled; if he will review this decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support that the student referred to by the Deputy has been contacted by SUSI and advised to reapply as a dependent student. His new application will be processed when received.
