Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform further to his 4 July 2013 announcement on the disposal of closed Garda stations the position regarding the plan; if estate agents have been appointed for all of the lots identified; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The appointment of estate agents to manage the disposal of the former Garda stations is progressing. Estate agents have been selected and the OPW await formal acceptance of contracts in order to proceed with selling the properties on the open market.
