Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if a decision has been made on the review of further medical evidence, sent in support of an application for derogation of the stocking rate on a 2012 disadvantaged area scheme application, in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can confirm that, as an exceptional measure, derogation from the stocking density provisions of the 2012 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme is being allowed in this case, mindful of the medical evidence submitted to my Department.
