413. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine his plans for the future of the turbary scheme in respect of Kilbride bog, County Mayo (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [52632/13]
View answerPreliminary work was carried out a number of years ago to deal with the possible disposal of the turbary rights still on hands in the Carrowleagh area but due to the limited resources available a Scheme did not proceed. It is anticipated that the matter will be re-examined in 2014 and the individual named will be contacted if a Scheme to dispose of the turbary rights is proceeding.
