Deputy John O'Mahony asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of weeks it is currently taking to process driving licences for applicants in County Mayo who have applied under the new system operated by the Road Safety Authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe subject matter of this question relates to the operation of the National Driver Licensing Service, which is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority. I have therefore forwarded the question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
