122. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the extent to which a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has eligible self-employed contributions for State pension; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [54517/13]
View answerA claim form for State pension (contributory) has been sent to the person concerned. On receipt of the completed claim form, his entitlement to pension will be fully examined and he will be notified of the outcome without delay. Periods of self-employed insurance will be taken into account in the assessment of his pension entitlement.
