295. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation the extent to which agency staff have been used in his Department in each of the past five years to date for the purpose of answering and transferring calls on their switchdesk; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In each of the past five years, in order to ensure that my Department could meet its customer service standards, the services of one agency telephonist have been used as part of the staff cohort who answer and transfer calls on my Department’s main switchboard.
