Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation further to Parliamentary Question No. 323 of 28 May 2013, if the Forfás report on consumer prices was completed by the end of 2013; and if so, when he plans to publish same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Action 126 of the Action Plan for Jobs 2013 entailed the production of a report on consumer costs in Ireland.

Forfás finalised the report in Q4 2013 as required under the Action Plan and submitted it to the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation. I intend to bring the report to Government in the near future and it will then be published.
