145. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the reason for non-payment of jobseeker's allowance-benefit in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 10; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1823/14]

The jobseeker’s allowance application of the person concerned was disallowed due to non-disclosure of means. It is open to the person concerned to submit an appeal to the Social Welfare Appeals Office where his case will be examined and a decision will issue in due course.
