71. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 63 of 10 October 2013, if the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation has made a voluntary disclosure to the Revenue Commissioners; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2089/14]
View answerThe Special Liquidators have informed me that on their appointment, Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited was already in dialogue with the Revenue Commissioners in relation to an open tax audit. The Special Liquidators are working with the Revenue Commissioners to close out the tax audit and some additional tax issues that have come to their attention. As these are matters which are still being reviewed and discussed between IBRC Limited (in Special Liquidation) and the Revenue Commissioners it would not be appropriate to comment any further at this time.
