140. Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will instruct his Department to engage and consult directly and openly with the board of management of a school (details supplied) with the aim of briefing the board and parents on his Department's efforts to find a location for the school; if he will meet with them within the next two weeks; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is in on-going communication with the Patron of the school in question in relation to its start-up accommodation for September 2014. This is the appropriate channel of communication. It is a matter for the Patron to keep the Board of Management informed. My Department will be meeting with the school Patron again shortly in relation to this matter.
