160. Deputy Thomas Pringle asked the Taoiseach when he expects the Household Finance and Consumption Survey to be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1559/14]

Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Deputy Paul Kehoe)

The Household Finance and Consumption Survey (HFCS) - which collects information on the assets and liabilities of households; as well as employment, income and pension data etc. on individuals - is currently being processed by the Central Statistics Office (CSO). Although no firm date for the release has been set yet, it is envisaged that publication will be in early autumn 2014.
