171. Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Taoiseach the names and amount by which each programme manager-special adviser has exceeded the relevant pay guidelines as laid down; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2259/14]

Under the Guidelines on Staffing of Ministerial Offices separate arrangements apply to the staffing requirements of the offices of the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste.

Following the general reductions provided for under the Haddington Road agreement, the salaries of Mr. Mark Kennelly (Chief of Staff) and Mr. Andrew McDowell (Special Advisor) were reduced to €156,380.
