Deputy Noel Harrington asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will provide in a tabular statement the official recorded landings of blue whiting over one tonne per vessel per annum from 2004 to 2013 inclusive; if he will clarify to which segment each vessel listed was operating in, such as RSW or polyvalent; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Sea Fisheries Protection Authority is the body within the State responsible for data recording and reporting on the landings of sea fish by Irish Sea Fishing Boats. I have asked the Authority to respond directly to the Deputy with the data requested.
