704. Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Health the apps his Department or attached agencies have been involved in developing for smartphones and other multimedia devices in the past three years; the cost and the software developer employed in each case. [5461/14]

My Department has not developed any specific applications for smart phones and other multi media devices to date. All users of Departmental smart phones are provided with access to email, calendar and contacts. The responsibility for day to day operational matters, which would include IT developments, rests with the respective CEO - Registrar of the relevant agency.
