487. Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will provide an update regarding the pyrite remediation scheme and a date for when he expects the scheme to open up to the public; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7517/14]
View answerIn accordance with Section 13 of the Pyrite Resolution Act 2013 I have recently approved the draft pyrite remediation scheme and directed the Board to make the scheme which has now been done. The scheme has been laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas in accordance with the terms of the Act. I understand that the Board will begin accepting applications later this month.
