Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the reason a three and a half year old child (details supplied) is still awaiting assessment; the reason for the delay; if he will ensure that further early intervention is not missed out on; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the particular issue raised by the Deputy relates to an individual case, this is a service matter for the Health Service Executive. Accordingly, I have arranged for the question to be referred to the HSE for direct reply to the Deputy.
