Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Health if he will clarify whether all branches of the Civil Service in his Department are applying Department policy that staff progress or incremental salary scales on the basis of a single point per annum; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerGovernment policy on the award of annual increments and long service increments (payable after three and six years satisfactory service on the maximum of standard incremental salary scales) is implemented for all staff in my Department subject to the restrictions and deferments which were set out in the Haddington Road Agreement.
