Deputy Dan Neville asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources further to Parliamentary Question No. 160 of 13 February 2014, if an official from his Department will contact the person (details supplied) to discuss this case as it would appear there is a bigger problem here and there may be a need for a new transmitter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI refer to the reply to Question No. 220 of 4 December 2013. The position is unchanged. RTÉ's network company 2RN is responsible for the roll-out, coverage and operation of the SAORVIEW digital terrestrial television (DTT) network. The individual concerned has been in contact with my Department directly and officials have subsequently made contact with 2RN in relation to his complaint. The advice of 2RN remains unaltered.
