Deputy Catherine Byrne asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his Department will re-examine the suitability of the proposed temporary location of a new all-Irish secondary school (details supplied); if his Department will consider locating this school closer to the catchment area to facilitate the pupils and their parents; when a decision on the permanent location of the school will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Accommodation arrangements for the school in question are currently being finalised and the Department expects to be in a position to provide the Patron with details shortly. Pending finalisation of this matter, I can confirm to the Deputy that the intended location is not as suggested in the details supplied.
