Deputy Timmy Dooley asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will provide a breakdown into categories of the number of crimes such as theft, anti-social behaviour and assaults, which occurred on the Luas Red and Green Lines in 2011, 2012 and 2013; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe safety and security of passengers and staff including arrangements to deal with anti-social behaviour on the Luas is a matter for the transport operator (Veolia) in conjunction, as appropriate, with the Gardaí. I have referred the Deputy's question to the Railway Procurement Agency, who have contracted Veolia to operate Luas services, for direct reply.
