Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health in respect of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 who is on the urgent orthopaedic waiting list for the Mater hospital and was due to have a procedure in January, the reason this procedure did not go ahead; and when it will be carried out in view of the persons deteriorating condition. In relation to the particular patient query raised by the Deputy, as this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly.
