The school building project referred to by the Deputy is on the 5 year construction programme announced in 2012. It is listed on the programme for construction in 2015/16. The appointment of the Design Team is currently being finalised. Once appointed the Design Team will be asked to provide the Department with a Detailed Project Programme which will set out how the project will be delivered within the required time period. It is not possible for the Department to advise the Deputy on when the commencement notice will be served to the council until such time as the Programme has been prepared and agreed with the Department.
