The HSE and all health insurers met last week to put a process in place to agree a form to validate treatment as a private patient in a public hospital. This meeting was facilitated by Pat McLoughlin as part of his ongoing review of private health insurance costs, under the auspices of the Consultative Forum on Health Insurance. The HSE and insurers will continue to work together to deal with a range of claims processing issues.
