Under the European Commission's call for proposals for preparatory actions under the 'Youth Guarantee', the Department of Social Protection has obtained EU funding to pilot a Youth Guarantee Scheme in Ballymun. The total cost of the project is EUR 302,279. This includes funding of EUR 250,000 from the European Commission.

The allocation of this budget and the elements which will be available to individual organisations to support the Youth Guarantee pilot is currently being finalised by the Ballymun Youth Guarantee Pilot Local Implementation Group.
