Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the number of requests that the Health Service Executive made in 2013 and has made to date in 2014 under Section 8 of the Health (Alteration of Criteria for Eligibility) Act 2013 to the Minister for Social Protection to give it personal data where it is required for assessing or reviewing the eligibility of persons for services provided under the Health Acts 1970 to 2013; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
