Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Health if Ehlers-Danlos syndrome will be covered under the treatment abroad scheme in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry in view of the fact that the expertises for the treatment of this rare disease is currently not available in this country; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
