Questions (672)

Dara Calleary

Question:

672. Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 558 of 4 February 2014, the history of the plot in question; his views that this plot was vested in the person named; his views that the successor to that vested interest is now in limbo; the options available to this person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The right of turbary to plot 1Q4 in the townland of Cloonkeelaun is registered as appurtenant to Folios SL12378 and SL16764F. Neither of these folios is registered in the individual named. It would therefore appear that any question relating to the title to this right of turbary is a civil matter between the registered owners on the folios and the individual named. As already stated the ownership of the fee simple for the plot in question is held by me as successor to the former Irish Land Commission and is not presently for sale.
