I am advised by the HSE that, according to most recent statistics at 1 April 2014, the number of persons with medical card eligibility was 1,799,103 and the number of persons with GP visit card eligibility was 120,981. The additional information sought by the Deputy is not readily available. However, I have asked the Health Service Executive to supply this information to me and I will forward it to the Deputy as soon as possible.
