422. Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the current average age of full-time staff in his Department; the way this compares with the average age of public servants in each year from 2010 to 2013; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21842/14]
View answerI understand that the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform will provide the information requested by the Deputy in respect of the staff of my Department. With regard to bodies under the aegis of my Department, I am advised the average age of full-time staff in such bodies is currently 46.73 but that records are not maintained of the average age of staff for previous years.
