648. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to a change in approach by a hospital (details supplied) from allowing open access to primary dental care to requiring patients to have referral letters from a local dentist; and if his Department has been monitoring this development in view of the significant funding received by the hospital in question from the Health Service Executive. There have been no changes to the Dublin Dental University Hospital's patient acceptance procedures, the details of which are published on its website and in patient information leaflets.
