369. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the position regarding an application for carer's allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [22297/14]
View answerI confirm that the department received an application for carer’s allowance from the person in question on 6 March 2014. A letter issued on 16 May 2014 requesting full completion of the carer's allowance application form, statements from financial institutions and payslips. Once this information is received a deciding officer will make a decision on entitlement and notify the person concerned of the outcome.
