594. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when payments under the 2013 beef suckler scheme will be paid; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22427/14]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine

Payments to all eligible participants under the 2013 Beef Data Programme will commence in June of this year when all of the required notifications on calves born during the late autumn will be submitted by participants in the Programme and the related verification checks are completed by my Department.
