133. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the number of contracts currently with Bus Éireann and Dublin Bus routes which will be subject to tender by private operators, with a breakdown based on the number and location of the routes; and the location and number of any contracts which have already been awarded to private operators by the National Transport Authority. 134. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if his Department has completed a cost-benefit analysis of the tendering of 10% of PSO bus routes currently with Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann services to private operators; if he will point to the way the contracting out of some routes will provide value for money to the State; and his views on the way the conditions and salaries of staff of Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann will be protected under any such change.
