42. Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Education and Skills the eligibility criteria used to determine those who are eligible for the roles of exam supervisors-superintendents for the State leaving certificate and junior certificate examinations; if he has any plans to revise the same criteria; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations.

In view of this I have forwarded the Deputy's query to the State Examinations Commission for direct reply to him.
