274. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the provisions there are under the Haddington Road agreement for a public sector worker whose working week was 35 hours or less and who chose to remain on those hours with an appropriate pay adjustment to continue working those hours beyond 30 June 2014; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Haddington Road Agreement provides for the standard working week for a public servant with a working week of 35 hours or less to increase to 37 hours a week.  The detailed implementation of this measure is a matter for local management in each public service sector in line with the operational requirements of the relevant sector.
