Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Health the costs associated with invasive ventilation for persons who suffer from motor neurone disease; the number of persons who have been provided with this invasive ventilation in 2011, 2012, 2013, and to date in 2014; the criteria to avail of invasive ventilation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
