358. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the progress to date in determination of an application for increase in supplementary welfare payment in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare who is requesting an increase due to having a dependent child; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The client has been advised that no increase in supplementary welfare allowance in respect of a child dependant is due as there is insufficient evidence of custody. Should the client wish to provide further information to the Department the case may be reviewed.
