Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the reason for the delay in announcing the funding decisions for the scheme to support national organisations in the community and voluntary sector; when the funding decisions will be made and announced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government

The Scheme to Support National Organisations in the Community and Voluntary sector provides multi-annual funding to national organisations towards core costs associated with the provision of services. The new scheme will commence from 1 July 2014. The results of a competitive assessment process are being considered and groups will be notified shortly.
