I understand that the Orthopaedic Team at the hospital has been in touch with the patient's family regarding a possible date for surgery. The HSE has also advised me that an administrative validation exercise was conducted in April to confirm patient details, and to confirm that the patient wished to remain on the waiting list and had received treatment elsewhere.
