766. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the extent to which a person (details supplied) in County Kildare suffered financial loss arising from National Transport Authority refusal to reactivate their small public service vehicle licence in view of the change in the relevant provisions by way of a review period of five years reduced to one year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the regulation of the taxi industry, under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act, 2013.
