Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Health if any consideration has been given to allowing those currently in receipt of a medical card over the age of 90 being exempted from the medical card review for over 70s medical cards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are no proposals to exempt medical card reviews for those over 90 years of age, under the Person's Aged 70 Years and Older Medical Card/GP Visit Card Scheme.
