Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health if he will provide an update on the reimbursement of persons who were previously denied access to the long-term illness scheme due to holding a medical card; if persons who had their applications rejected but have not yet reapplied for the scheme will be reimbursed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
