View answerThe Civil Registration Service is operated by the Health Service Executive (HSE) on behalf of the General Registrar's Office under the aegis of the Department of Social Protection. The operational cost of this service is met from within the HSE's budget. Consequently, I have referred the Deputy's question to the HSE for direct reply.
