Deputy Dan Neville asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will provide an update on the application for funding by Limerick City and County Council for UV treatment to eliminate the risk of cryptosporidium contamination in the Kilfinny Group Water Scheme. [29386/14]

A proposal for works on this scheme, which was received from Limerick City and County Council last week, is being examined by my Department. A response will issue to the Council as soon as possible.
