Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 567 of 15 April 2014, the number of private patients seen by each of the consultants in each of the past five years; the type of contract each consultant is on and their individual speciality; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand that the Health Service Executive wrote to the Deputy on 23rd June in this matter. In relation to the Deputy's further question on this issue, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to him directly.
