332. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Justice and Equality when the PULSE system will be upgraded; the timeline for such an upgrade; when gardaí will be able to access the upgraded system for summons; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [46072/14]
View answerI am informed by the Garda authorities that a number of PULSE software upgrades are scheduled every year to keep the system up to date with operational requirements and legislative changes such as new offences. In this regard three such software upgrades are planned for 2015 which will include enhancements across all areas of PULSE including summons.
