524. Deputy Derek Nolan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the amount, across all funding streams, spent on modernisation, refurbishment, and improvement works on schools (details supplied) in County Galway since 2009; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [2548/15]

I wish to advise the Deputy that the total capital funding issued in the period 2009 to 2014 in respect of the schools referred to by the Deputy amounted to over €420,000 in the case of the first named school and to over €225,000 in the case of the other school.
